The mission of the Gina Brown Foundation is "Connecting, Cultivating, and
Supporting Creative Arts in the Community” Doing what Gina Brown has always done throughout her career.
Gina’s warm heart and vibrant spirit
prompted the birth of this foundation.
When God put the world on pause with Covid pandemic, many people used the opportunity to boldly pursue their dreams and aspirations.
Gina created a creative arts activity space in her backyard for the kids in her neighborhood.
This began a series of awesome opportunities for her to engage and connect with young people and cultivate creativity.
Gina Brown’s radio show, G’s Corner, has showcased local artists for the
past 6 yrs. giving talented artists a voice on the non-profit radio station
102.3 WHIV-FM. WHIV stands for “We Honor Independent Voices”. Tune
in Every Wednesday @ 2 pm for G’s Corner.
The vision of GBF comes to life with the Local Artist Spotlight --an
exciting new platform for local artists to showcase their talents, while also
learning about the many processes required to be successful in the music
business. This includes mentoring and training from New Orleans industry
professionals on branding and marketing, stage presence, and more.
The Love Live Music concert series which will take place every Sunday in January at Sweet Lorraine’s.
